What does "Exit 445" mean?
California State Highway 101 runs the entire length of the state. When CALTRANS finishes their 2002 project to replace Highway 101 exit signs, our exit in Mill Valley will be "Exit 445". It is also a tribute to our New Jersey roots, where the meeting of two strangers often contains the dialog: "Yo. You from Jersey? Me too. What exit?".
